FINE ART PERFORMANCE AND FASHION
Call for proposals
The ‘Volkov Commanders’ are inviting artists, fashion designers, textilists and performers to collaborate together to create ambitious projects culminating in an event staged over three evenings in a central Manchester location in February 2011.
The event is based on the theatrics of contemporary fashion so we want ideas and pieces based in costume/fashion and performance.
Deadline for proposals: 30th November 2010
Piccadilly Place is opening one of it’s ground floor retail units to the artist community to bring life to the complex and make use of it’s prime location in the centre of Manchester and next to Piccadilly train station.

Please send your ideas (one side of A4) to The Volkov Commanders at volkovcommanders@gmail.com please try to include any images of previous work or examples of your idea attached as .Jpeg or .pdf files.
Feel free to get in touch if you are interested in participating in the project but do not have any concrete ideas.
